Topic 3: Founders and partners: to grow by utilizing external power
Successful founders of SMEs have always been depicted as heroes. Their
intelligence, courage, and perseverance are undoubtedly most valuable
fortune for an enterprise. However, a hero also needs help — in most cases
small enterprises can hardly afford expensive services that are obviously
more suitable for large enterprises. As an increasing number of quality
SMEs have emerged in China, service providers are changing their
practices by adapting their products or services to meet the demands of
SMEs and by lowering the prices in hopes of sharing SMEs’ success.On
the other hand, SMEs will gain from proper strategies for cooperating with
large companies. Regarding this topic, speakers will impart to the audience

Topic 4: Seeking for non-typical SMEs worthy of investment
Investments on China’s SMEs are characterized by two opposite
features. On one hand, ambitious SME founders in the traditional field of
risk investmentventure capitals such sd TMT (Technology, media, and
telecommunications) still offer startling prices while experienced risk
investors have already started to be concerned with economic bubbles &
their “bursting”; on the other, in the vast Chinese inland, many excellent
SMEs in industries other than TMT have not been given enough attention.
Regarding this topic, risk investors with expertise in investment in Chinese
mainland as well as outstanding non-typical SME entrepreneurs will explore
with the audience the issue of how to expand scope of business by seeking
for SMEs worthy of investment.
